WATCH: Five injured as cars and trucks collide in M7 crash

Motorists are urged to make use of alternate routes as traffic has been severely affected by the collision.

RED Line Response paramedics are on the scene of a serious multi-vehicle collision on the M7, below the N2 bridge.

Two trucks and two vehicles were involved in the accident.

Garrith Jamieson of Red Line Response said paramedics are currently assessing and treating five patients.

Traffic has been severely affected and motorists are urged to use alternate routes.
