Captain Raymond Jali retires from Pinetown SAPS

After 40 years of tireless service to the Highway community, the driven SAPS member retired on Friday.

AFTER 40 years of dedicated service to the Highway community, Captain Raymond Jali, from the Pinetown Bike Squad, retired.

The Pinetown neighbourhood watch network said they were especially grateful for the insurmountable contribution that Jali played in the community.

“We have, in the last 20 years, watched him grow in the ranks and one of the things that stands out about him is that he was an absolutely dedicated member of the crime prevention team. He went over and above the call of duty on many occasions,” said ProAct Neighbourhood Watch’s Andreas Mathios. 

As he headed off into retirement, members of the community and local security companies gathered at the Pinetown SAPS to thank him for his tireless work and wish him well for the future.
