Youngest CROW member turns 1 month old

CROW’s youngest member, Noah, turned a month old last Thursday.
The little vervet monkey was picked up in a train yard just hours after he was born.

On admission, Noah was absolutely tiny and weighed only 266g.
Crow said they believe that he may have been born prematurely or the smaller of twins.
“Vervet monkeys are known to generally only have one baby but every now and then we come across a mom with twins. His physical development has been slow, this is common with the smaller babies as they normally start to cut teeth within the first week after being born, however little Noah is still a little gumball.”
A few days after he was admitted, the team at CROW realised this little guy was lactose intolerant and needed to be switched over onto a soy based formula which made a difference almost immediately.
Lactose intolerant babies present with the same symptoms as a human baby would and can be the cause of a very unhappy, unhealthy baby if not picked up very soon.
The specialised soy based formula Noah is currently on is a little more pricey than the CROW’s regular formula.
