THE Robin Hood Foundation has dedicated the entire month of July to community outreach projects and partnerships to make a difference through their Mandela Month of Miracles drive.

In support of #Hopeiscontagious they have distributed over 400 tons of food and supplies into the community since the start of lockdown and they paid a visit to The Upper Highway Baby Home on Friday as a pre-Mandela Day project after seeing the needs of the home.

“Thanks to Rodel Financial Services for its incredible donation and Hirsch’s Homestores for their generous discount on the washing machine and donating the vacuum cleaner,” said RHF chairlady, Cindy Norcott.

The home also received some maize and hampers filled with clothing, toys and food.

On Thursday, the foundation distributed loaves of breads to various communities and NPOs.

The bread was donated by Pinetown company, Premier Foods.”

They also gave us stationery, blankets and they have promised to supply us with 150 loaves of breads every week for the next three months,” said coordinator of Robin Hood Foundation, Kim Griffith-Jones.
