Focus on iThemba’s food parcels bring hope

Focus on iThemba recently delivered much-needed food parcels to 800 families in the Valley of 1000 Hills.

THE Hillcrest-based non-profit organisation, Focus on iThemba, spent the past two weeks distributing 800 food parcels to the community it supports in the Valley of 1000 Hills.

In response to the fight against Covid-19, the organisation, together with the support of several key partners and foundations, was equipped to offer relief to 800 households, roughly 3 200 individuals, with the provision of food and other hygiene essentials.

“We are so grateful for this opportunity to continue to impact our community in the Valley of 1000 Hills in the fight against Covid-19,” said the team leader at Focus on iThemba, Tayla-Anne Goss.

The response from the community was that of complete gratitude.
