Hirsch hosts networking meetings online

The Hirsch's Ladies Network meetings have moved successfully from in-store to online events.

THE Women in Business networking meetings that have become a popular feature on Hirsch’s calendar with business women around the country getting together in Hirsch’s stores have a new look.

The network meetings have moved successfully from in-store to online events and this week saw the first of many Zoom sessions with a large group of businesswomen, many of whom are leaders in their field, coming together to chat about their businesses and how they are coping during lockdown.

Executive director of the Hirsch’s group, Margaret Hirsch, hosts the meetings and there is a popular guest speaker at each one.

The KZN meet-up held most recently saw businesswoman, Cindy Norcott, who wears many hats, take centre stage. Cindy spoke about how to be unstoppable when the world has come to a standstill.

Cindy, who is celebrating 26 years at her business, PRO Appointments, also runs The Robin Hood Foundation which does amazing work in local communities.

She is also an author and a motivational speaker which has kept her extremely busy during lockdown motivating people across the country virtually.

“This is not the end, we are all just on pause. It is what you are doing during this pause that is going to make a big difference. Change your perspective, we need to be prepared to change and adjust. Focus on finding a solution to all the problems and change your mindset to looking at these problems as opportunities,” she said.
