Make a ‘pur’sitive difference for Kloof SPCA

Supporters of the lockdown challenge have a chance to win a few of the lucky prizes up for grabs.

LACE up for the Killarney Brick Mutt Marathon Lockdown Challenge, in support of the Kloof and Highway SPCA, on Monday, 27 April between 1am and 11pm at home.

Participants can compete in a 2km, 5km, 10km, 21km run or walk and or a 20km, 50km and 100km cycle.

Entry for adults is R100 per person and children under 18 and students pay R50 per person. It is R50 per event if you enter more than one event.

Enter before noon on Sunday, 26 April by paying your entry free and sending the proof of payment to operations@kloofspca.co.za

“Run, walk or cycle in the confines of your own home or garden with your pooch. Treadmills and stationary bikes are allowed,” said the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s Brigitte Ferguson.

“Post selfies to your social media using #muttmarathon2020 and #doingitfortheanimals and encourage your friends and family to sponsor you.”

There are lucky draw prizes and these include hampers from Kloof Village Mall SPAR and Westville SPAR and vouchers from Madeleines and Pamper room.

“Thank you and we look forward to having you help us raise much needed funds for the animals during #lockdown2020,” she added.
