Durban City Orchestra invites new members

The only requirement is a Grade 6 level of playing a classical instrument, can read music and passionate about sharing the love of music with others.

THE Durban City Orchestra (DCO) invites new members to join the orchestra.

This vibrant, enthusiastic, multi-cultural orchestra has been in existence since 1888.

The orchestra’s resident conductor, Lyk Temmingh, has extensive experience in leading and guiding orchestras such as the KZNPO and KZN Youth Orchestra and is fully committed to preparing the 50 member DCO for performance in three to four concerts per year.

The DCO is keen to attract new members.
