The M7 highway has again seen another deadly accident as two drivers died yesterday (29 February) following a late afternoon head-on collision near the Winston Churchill off ramp.
In the above sound clip, Rescue Care spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson describes the scene which paramedics encountered on the M7.
“One vehicle had gone over the barrier and down the embankment,” said Jamieson.

The driver of the car which left the road was a woman, believed to be in her 20s.
“She was declared deceased while still trapped in her vehicle,” said Jamieson.
Jamieson said the driver of the other vehicle, who had sustained very serious injuries in the accident, also died despite the best efforts of paramedics to save his life.
“Events leading up to this accident are as yet unknown. However SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating,” he added.
