A TEENAGER was seriously injured when a truck and SUV collided on the M7 this morning.
The serious collision, which happened near Rossburgh testing grounds on Titren Road off the M7, resulted in the Lenmed aeromedical helicopter being called to airlift the teenage girl who was put onto a ventilator by advanced life support paramedics on the scene.

According to reports from Rescue Care spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson, their paramedics arrived on the scene just after 6am.
According to Jamieson, the events leading up to accident are unknown but authorities were on the scene and would be investigating.

“One person sustained critical injuries and is currently entrapped in the wreckage,” said Jamieson reporting from the scene shortly after paramedics had arrived.
“A truck t-boned the SUV,” said Jamieson. “The SUV had four occupants. One was a teenager who sustained critical injuries and was stabilised by advance life support paramedics, put on a ventilator and was transported by the Lenmed aeromedical helicopter. The other three occupants of the SUV sustained serious injuries and were stabilised at the scene before being transported to hospitals.
