Pinetown Home Affairs is offline

This is due to a server crash which was caused by a power surge.

WARD 18 councillor, Melanie Brauteseth has advised the community that the Pinetown Home Affairs office is offline due to a server crash which was caused by a power surge.

The home affairs is open for collections that are ready but since they are offline they cannot do new applications until they are online again.

“For new applications, you will be referred to other departments around eThekwini,” said Brauteseth.

She said she has requested to be kept informed about progress and will provide feedback once received.

“People who require birth certificates for infants younger than 30 days must be referred to St Mary’s,” she added.
