A 19-YEAR-OLD old suspect was arrested for murder in New Germany on Sunday, 26 January.

According to Pinetown Cluster communications officer, Capt Bongumusa Manqele, police were driving along Dinkleman Road in New Germany when they saw a woman who was crossing the road and screaming for help.
“The woman (25) pointed out at the suspect who stabbed her before collapsing on the scene. She was certified dead on the scene and the suspect was apprehended,” said Manqele.
The arrested suspect will appear in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court.
