Leap into action for Kloof Conservancy frog event

Fun and educational evening planned for the leap year celebration

THE Kloof Conservancy has announced that planning is underway for the annual frog evening Leap Day for Frogs – this year is a “real” leap year and the event is scheduled for Saturday 29 February at Iphithi Nature Reserve.

The event is a joint venture project with EWT’s Endangered Amphibian Programme, Iphithi Nature Reserve and LEPSOC

As it a “leap year” they are planning a few extra activities this year to make the event even more fun and educational.

At this stage the organizers are looking for volunteers to assist with the afternoon and evening.

The event starts at 4pm and about 16t volunteers are needed for a number of tasks.
