A 58 year-old Wyebank man was approached by four armed suspects outside his residence while waiting for his wife to open the gate on Wednesday morning (22 January).

According to Pinetown cluster police spokesperson, Bongumusa Manqele, the man was forced out of his vehicle and then robbed of his cellphone, wallet and his VW Golf.
The suspects were driving a Toyota Corolla with NRB plates.
“The vehicle was later recovered and is now at the pound,” he said.
A case of carjacking has been opened and no arrests have been made.
