NSC matric results: Kloof High School

Local schools in the Highway area celebrated the outstanding achievements of their 2019 matriculants

KLOOF High School congratulated its matric class of 2019 on a good set of National Senior Certificate results.

The school’s acting principal, Rob Holding, as well as its staff members, said they were extremely proud of all of the learners.

The 2019 DUX, Rebecca Biggs and runner up to DUX, Rose Khosa both obtained 7 distinctions. Rebecca achieved 86 per cent for English, 96 per cent for Afrikaans, 86 per cent for mathematics, 87 per cent for life orientation, 91 per cent for accounting, 89 per cent for life sciences and 94 per cent for physical sciences. Her average was 89.85 per cent.

Rose achieved 84 per cent for English, 91 per cent for Afrikaans, 80 per cent for mathematics, 84 per cent for life orientation, 90 per cent for accounting, 91 per cent for business studies and 85 per cent for physical sciences. Her aggregate was 86.42 per cent.

Erin v. d. Westhuisen achieves 6 As, while Wandile Mkhize, Savanah Naidoo and Steven Watts all received 5 As.

Rob Holding said he was happy with the results that were achieved and looks forward to even better results at the end of 2020.
