WEDNESDAY marked a very special day in the life of each Grade 1 learner as they embarked on their 12-year journey in formal education.
“As adults, it feels like just another year, yet this milestone brings with it a mixture of nervous excitement for parents and learners alike.

“The staff of Forest View Primary School wish all our Grade 1 learners and their families an enjoyable and exciting 2020,” said the school’s public relations officer, Jean Montile.
Seen on their first day are Cassia Bettridge-Attlee, Chane van Heerden, Lindelwa Hlatswayo and Angus Nel (back).
