EVERY year, Nation Changers, the charity arm of CityHill Church distributes backpacks filled with treats, stationery, toiletries and a toy to children at crèches and primary schools in the less fortunate communities around Hillcrest.

Head of Nation Changers, Nadine Wright, said these backpacks bring joy to children this year as most receive no other gift at Christmas time.
“The backpacks are used throughout the year and the goodies inside are hugely appreciated,” said Wright.
Wright said there has been great festivity at the Christmas parties held at each of the crèches and primary schools.
“The precious little children look forward all year to their party and receiving their gifts. Our generous community has made this blessing possible, thank you for sharing in the joy of giving Love in a Backpack,” she said.
