Hillcrest beauty pageant winner to represent Africa
Gill said being crowned Mrs Africa Classic and Mrs Africa Classic Globe has given her a direction and a purpose and the platform to make a difference and change other lives as well.
HILLCREST resident, Gill Holm, was crowned Mrs Africa Classic and Mrs Africa Classic Globe at a prestigious event in Johannesburg.
Gill will represent Africa next year at the international event, Mrs Globe in America.

During the pageant week Gill won Best National Outfit, Contestants Choice, Compliance to tasks, Best 60 Outfit, Best Sponsor Support, Determination Award, Body Beautiful, and during the crowning ceremony, she was awarded the TV Star award.
Gill said she was totally humbled and full of gratitude to have won the title of Mrs Africa Classic.
“My gratitude goes to the Africa Pageants CEO, Carolyn Baldwin Botha for believing in me. This pageant has changed my life.”
She said it has given her a direction and a purpose and the platform to make a difference and change other lives as well.
The African Pageants supports the African Queen Foundation which distributes re-useable washable sanitary pads to disadvantaged women and help people in need with operations.
Gill is involved in a number of charities such as The Ark, 1000 Hills Community Helpers, Hope House and the Mama Ntombi’s Community Projects where she is assisting them to get sponsorships for their various projects.
She added that she is working towards getting more community centres open for children for meals and a safe place to go.
