A HILLCREST man (35) has been sentenced to four life imprisonment sentences by the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court for rape, sexual assault and possession of child pornography.

According to Pinetown cluster spokesperson, Cpt Bongumusa Manqele, the man was accused of sexually assaulting his stepson and raping his stepdaughter in June 2014.
“The victims were aged five and seven when the incidents of rape happened. Their stepfather would rape them at night when their mother had gone out,” he said.
According to Manqele, he also had cameras fitted in the house and would take pictures of the girl when she was taking a shower.
“He also raped his stepchildren’s friends when they came for weekend sleepovers,” Manqele added.
