#16DaysOfActivism: Support Jes Foord Foundation handbag project

The Handbag Project relies on the support of the community to donate new or used handbags containing items that can assist a rape victim.

IN commemoration of the 16 Days of Activism against Women and Child Abuse, the community is urged to support the Jes Foord Foundation’s Handbag Project.

The Handbag Project relies on donations of new or used handbags containing items that can assist a rape victim during the initial reporting process at the police station, such as a facecloth, soap and new underwear.

The Jes Foord Foundation aims to pack 400 rape comfort bags (160 handbags and 240 children’s packs) monthly for over 20 beneficiaries countrywide who have come to so greatly depend on these bags.
