QuadPara association promotes work readiness

The programme is aimed at bridging the gap to employment for wheelchair users.

THE QuadPara Association of South Africa (QASA) recently held a graduation ceremony for its Work Readiness Programme at the regional offices in Gillitts.

The programme is aimed at bridging the gap to employment for wheelchair users.

Three of the four candidates of the programme are from the Highway area and over the last two months they have undergone significant personal and professional development while being in a simulated work place.

QASA strives to prevent spinal cord injury, as well as protect and promote the interests of people with mobility impairments by formulating a national policy and strategy, to develop and ensure the full potential and quality of their lives.
