Erica Floweday, the operations director for NETCONFIG, felt that it is critical that all her staff get involved in giving back and helping others less fortunate and she saw this as a chance to create further awareness as well as a way to help raise funds for those who don’t have the ability to make choices about their lives.

When asked about her reasons for participating in this specific charity she said, “I believe that NETCONFIG has the ability to make a difference, if every organisation took a step to make their staff aware of the terrible abuse that happens to women, children and men daily, the world would be a kinder place. I am incredibly thankful for all my blessings and believe that we should all try and help others. I hope our golf day will encourage other people to do something for someone else. We all have the ability to make a huge difference.”

NETCONFIG also wished to thank their various sponsors for their contribution to this cause.Thank you for all your support, without you this day would not have been possible,” she added.

Iain Emerson, managing director for the company said, “When Erica approached the team about Thora Mansfield’s ‘one stop’ trauma and counselling centre, we were more than happy to provide assistance and support. Our focus as a team is on people, partnerships, services and support which is exactly what this fund-raiser hoped to achieve.”
