Wyebank dad receives four life sentences for murdering his children

Sibusiso Mpungose was sentenced earlier today in the Pietermaritzburg High Court.

A WYEBANK father, who made headlines in September for the heinous murders of his three children aged 4, 6 and 10 and his stepdaughter (16), has been sentenced to four life terms in the Pietermaritzburg High Court.

Sibusiso Mpungose pleaded guilty in October.

Three bodies were found in their home while the body of his stepdaughter was found in a bush in New Germany after Mpungose fetched her from school.

It is said that Mpungose was experiencing problems with his wife and she wanted a divorce.
