DOONE Village Retirement Home hosted its popular, annual fete on Saturday, 26 October and fete-goers enjoyed bargains from homemade cakes, preserves, plants, gifts and jewellery to needlework, children’s stall, knitting, books, jigsaws, DVD’s, CD’s, a lucky dip and special items at the White Elephant stall and at Grannies Attic.
