Help Pinetown Girls’ learners make a mark overseas

Nothando and Nonsindiso believe this opportunity will benefit many other young people as they will share their knowledge.

PINETOWN Girls’ Grade 11 learners, Nothando Qwabe and Nonsindiso Mkhize, applied to attend a global teen conference in Yale and were accepted.

The Yale Model United Nations will be held from January 23 to January 26, 2020.

Nonsindiso said they are excited to be part of this conference where they will mingle with other teenagers from all over the world.

“At the conference we will be able to voice the issues about our countries especially among us, young people and hopefully together we can find solutions,” said Nonsindiso.

Nothando said they believe this opportunity will benefit many other young people as they will share their knowledge.

The two girls said they are looking forward to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and have appealed to anyone or any businesses to help sponsor their trip.
