Have your say: Forest Hills cellphone tower installation

RESIDENTS in Forest Hills have until 28 October to submit their written representations regarding the installation of two cell masts.

A special consent application to construct a 35-metre high cellular telephone mast and base station on a site zoned ‘special residential’ 1800. On remainder of ERF 305 Forest Hills.

A copy of the application and its accompanying documents will be open for inspection by interested people between 8am and 12.30pm from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, at the offices of Land Use Management branch as well as the Sizakala Centre in Hillcrest.

Residents are invited to lodge written objections by 28 October 2019, by hand, to the regional co-ordinator: Outer West Region, Land Use Management Branch, Ground Floor, 22 Delamore Road, Hillcrest, or by registered post to PO Box 36, Kloof, 3640, or by e-mail to thulani.magwaza@durban.gov.za (Outer West Regional Office: 031 311 2763).

These must also be forwarded to the applicant, Chane Lourens of Smith and Fisher Planning at PO BOX 908, Groenkloof, 0027. Contact 012 346 2340 or 072 393 8540 or email chanel@sfplan.co.za.

Should you fail to lodge or forward objections to both parties by the said date, your objection will be invalid.
