PINETOWN girls, who form part of the Highway Youth Forum, hosted a picnic for children who attend Sakhisizwe, a crèche in KwaDabeka.
The girls have been collecting second-hand clothes, toys, stationery and sanitary towels for the crèche after school programme.

“The girls also contributed R30 each to buy food for the picnic,” said Pinetown Girls’ educator, Kavisha Govender.
The little ones had a great time playing with the girls and being spoiled with toys and food. There were also student teachers from UKZN and UNISA who joined the girls on the day.
