During his presentation, former NASA astronaut, Dr Don Thomas, will relive a few of his top moments from his 692 space orbits of Earth.

FIND out about what it is like to be shot off the Earth and into space and to live and work in a shuttle while orbiting the planet with a talk by former NASA astronaut, Dr Don Thomas, at St Mary’s DSG on Friday, 20 September from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.

Fifty years ago, on 20 July 1969, NASA’s famed Apollo 11 programme enabled the first humans to walk upon a different world, Earth’s only moon.
