Techno fun at the 21st edition of the Durban Business Fair

The Municipality cordially invites members of the public and aspiring businesses to take advantage of this rare opportunity.

IF learning how to create and use robots, how to code and play with new technology are some of your interests, then you better head to the Durban Business Fair, between 25 and 29 September at Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre and Durban Exhibition Centre.

This year’s focus is on the 4th industrial revolution, which is why technology is going to be the main themes at this year’s edition of the Business Fair.

This exhibition is aimed at providing a platform for local businesses to showcase their goods and services. It also serves as a platform for networking and discussions aimed at growing businesses.

Phillip Sithole, Deputy City Manager for Economic Development and Planning said: “We are very much excited at the quality of this year’s Fair, and hope it encourages businesses to start thinking about innovation as we in the grip of the fourth industrial revolution. It is very exciting that this initiative is growing in leaps and bounds. Like it has done in the previous years we are very optimistic that this year’s chapter is going to enable dreams of many entrepreneurs to come true” he said.

The techno zone will be one such exhibitor at the Fair that speaks to the technological changes taking place in the world. The stall will be highly interactive as it will showcase new technologies and introduce people to new-thinking and concepts. Hosted by Innovate Durban, the techno zone will feature virtual reality and 3D printing as some of the latest technologies on show.

This premium business exhibition will include a number of exciting features ranging from business conferences, master classes, business exhibitions and lot more activities to inspire and educate entrepreneurs.

The Fair will have influential business people and prominent celebrities who will share their expertise on business development and opportunities available for emerging businesses, to tap into the mainstream economy. Entrants will have a unique opportunity to network and meet new potential buyers from both local and international markets.
