Brothers arrested for Wyebank murder

The siblings allegedly assaulted a 21-year-old man they accused of stealing a cellphone.

  1. TWO suspects, aged 26 and 31, were arrested for murder yesterday, 25 August.

The siblings, and now partners in crime, allegedly assaulted a 21-year-old man they accused of stealing a cellphone in Wyebank.

“The deceased was allegedly assaulted with golf club all over his body and was transferred to hospital where he later died,” said Pinetown SAPS communications officer, Cap Bongumusa Manqele.

The arrested suspects will be charged for murder and are due in court tomorrow, 27 August.
