The African Queen Foundation distributes reusable sanitary wear for underprivileged girls and women via charity organisations in Africa.

Being a person who likes giving and helping the less fortunate, Gill’s journey so far has taken her to two charity foundations.

One of them is the 1000 Hill Community Helpers in Inchanga where there are 300 women who go every Tuesday and Thursday for clinic visits.

She would like to raise funds so that she can supply these women with the reusable sanitary packs.

She also has a wish list for their baby section that is in desperate need of baby items.

The other charity she is involved with is the Ark where there are two children she is helping to get into a school, however, she needs to raise funds for their schooling as well as petrol to get them to school and back.

The competition is hosted by Africa Pageants and is organised by CEO, Carolyn Botha and the finals will be held later this year.

Anyone who wishes to assist Gill with her fund-raising initiatives can contact Gill on 082 937 6132 or Africa Pageants on 011 849 1087 or email info@mrsafrica.co.za.
