2019 Dog Box Challenge turns Kloof SPCA’s clinic dream into reality

With the amount raised in this year's Dog Box Challenge, the Kloof and Highway SPCA's clinic will be able to undergo its renovation this year.

THANKS to the many participants who braved the cold and were locked up for 24 hours for the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s Dog Box challenge, a total of R457 279.29 was raised.

Barbara Patrick, Brigitte Rossouw and the staff and volunteers at the non-profit organisation said they were completely overwhelmed by the total raised.

“We will never be able to thank each of our Dog Box 2019 participants enough for making this dream come true, for being awesome, hardworking and fun. Your contributions will ensure that we are able to renovate our clinic in 2019,” exclaimed Barbara Patrick.

“To everyone who donated towards our cause and the participants’ bail money, we will forever be grateful to you and you too have made this project a reality for the animals in our community. You have made a huge difference and will help us to prevent cruelty to animals and provide basic animal health care to animals who need it,” said Patrick.
