Feel like a star: Win 1 of 5 experiences to the Vodacom Durban July

Are you ready for the Pavilion’s 4th Vodacom Durban July?

As July approaches, all eyes are on Durban as South Africa and the rest of the world flock to the sunny shores to enjoy the exquisite world of fashion, entertainment and horse racing.

This year, the theme is Stars of Africa and The Pavilion took this as the perfect opportunity to highlight talented local designers making bold statements and leaving their mark in the fashion industry. The Pavilion will provide an exciting platform appealing to both up and coming and already established designers.

The Pavilion embarked on a search for fashion designers across Durban.

The partnership with Durban Fashion Fair broadened the opportunities for selected designers and promises to make The Pavilion’s 4th Vodacom Durban July one to remember.

“The Pavilion’s Designers Emporium’ pop-up fashion store will be set up at The Pavilion Shopping Centre, offering young designers an opportunity to gain exposure and promote  their brands in an exclusive retail space. The young designer’s initiative is a Proudly Pav concept and aims to uplift and assist young talent in the greater Durban area.  The pop up fashion store will be trading from 14 June to 14 September 2019, housing designers such as Afrolucious, Martin Steenkamp, Zaviar Fashions, Mbali Mkhumbeni, Adelaide, Indoni Fashion House and Touch Of Soul to name a few. The pop up fashion stores will give shoppers an opportunity to shop for a unique outfit for the VDJ.”

Alongside The Pavilion Designers Emporium, look out for the fashion pods positioned in the Centre which will offer creative inspiration for shoppers’ Durban July outfits.

To top it all off, shoppers will be given the opportunity to win 1 of 5 Vodacom Durban July experiences which includes double tickets to Vodacom Durban July and a shopping spree valued at R 5000.  (terms and conditions apply).

General Manager of The Pavilion Nisha Kemraj said: “As we enter into our 4th Vodacom Durban July inspired initiative, we want to encompass the Stars of Africa theme by assisting talented local designers in getting their name out in the fashion industry.”

She went on to say: “The Pavilion is committed to youth and enterprise development and we cannot wait to provide a platform where young local designers can make memorable statements with their fashion pieces.”
