The programme which is packed with practical guidelines for local SME’s will start at 8am and finish at 11am. The GBC services the greater Highway area including New Germany, Pinetown, KwaDabeka, Clermont, Wyebank.

“Our ministry is focused on holistic community development. We provide relevant business / life strategies and empowering information to help entrepreneurs thrive in their spiritual and financial wellness. Small and medium enterprises are the backbone of the South African economy and it is critical for all sectors of society to work together to contribute to the National Development Plan. We are working hard to support small businesses in the Highway area so that they can grow and create the much needed jobs,” said GBC Senior Pastor Vulindlela Dludla.

The Annual Grow in Grace Business Breakfast and Exhibition launch which was held early this year at the GBC premises on 69 Berkshire Drive in New Germany provided powerful insights and demonstrated the dire need for a business-to-business platform of this nature in the Highway area.

Business Desk Co-ordinators, Dr Khumbulani Hlongwana and Mr Mthandeni Phakathi are very confident that working with experienced entrepreneurs will provide existing and emerging SME’s with practical solutions to their day-to-day business challenges.

“The guest speaker for this Annual Grow in Grace Breakfast is entrepreneur, businessman and Pastor Nhlanhla Khambule who, among many ventures, has established a private school in Umlazi township. Pastor Khambule will share insights into how entrepreneurship can transform our country and help bring about economic freedom, 25 years since the attainment of political freedom,” said Dr Hlongwana.

Mr Lucky Mabunda from Absa Bank will provide critical information about enterprise and supplier development funds which were set up by the Bank to fund SME’s who do not have their own contribution and may have poor credit records. These funds are a critical financial instrument to power up SME’s.
