World Eating Disorders Action Day is a global collective of thousands of individual activists, and more than 200 organisations in 45 countries.

This year’s World Eating Disorders Action Day theme is ‘Eating Disorders: We Can’t Afford to Wait’ and emphasises the need for policymakers, providers, programmes and families to act now.

This year the #ShowUsYourPurple social media campaign (inspired by Canada’s BodyBrave.org) is engaging thousands to show support by posting a picture of themselves, a loved one or a pet with the hashtag #ShowUsYourPurple.
