THE Kloof and Highway SPCA is gearing up for its 2019 Dog Box fund-raiser from 31 May to Saturday, 1 June.
Twenty-four people will be locked in the organisation’s 24 socialisation run kennels for 24 hours, from noon on the Friday until noon the next day, to raise funds for the relocation and upgrade of the clinic.
“This is our fifth year hosting the Dog Box fund-raiser and it has to be one of the most sociable and fun events of the year for our SPCA,” said the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s Brigitte Rossouw.

“We would like to invite our community to come along and join in on this exciting event by visiting the participants in their kennels, donating funds towards their bail money and being a special part of our 2019 Dog Box,” said Brigitte.
There will be a moonlight market on Friday, 31 May from 5pm to 8pm.
There will be live music, food stalls and the charity shops will be open and packed with bargains.
