THOMAS More College’s Leigh Janse van Rensburg is the school’s high school SPAR Star of the Month.
Leigh belongs to Fitness Alive Netball Club where she practices up to three times a week. Through her hard work and determination, she was chosen for the U14A KZN Midlands indoor netball team. Alongside her team, she participated in the Inter-Provincial Tour in Cape Town at the end of March.
Leigh is also the captain for the U14A TMC netball team and was asked to join the U14 KZN school netball team. She will compete in the SA Schools Netball All-Ages National Tournament in Boksburg in June.
She also excels in academics and took part in the maths Olympiad 2019 first round.
When Leigh is not on the netball court, or studying, she enjoys watching movies, spending time with her friends and playing the piano.
