THOMAS More College’s Taylor Cheary is the school’s senior primary SPAR Star of the Month.
The Grade 7 learner is passionate about her school life, in the classroom and on the sports field. Taylor plays 1st team netball, hockey, soccer and water polo and is also a member of the senior primary’s swimming squad and choir.
Taylor recently participated at the KZN U13 netball trials and she was also selected for the Pinetown and Districts U13B hockey side. Last year Taylor played for the U12A Panthers team for pro series indoor hockey.
In December, Taylor competed at the inter-provincial schools’ water polo tournament in East London and was selected for the U13A KZN side. Taylor was also selected to represent Thomas More College at the first U13 girls district soccer trials and made the U13 B side, and will compete in the KZN trials at the beginning of June.
In her spare time, Taylor enjoys going to the beach and surfing with her dad and is always listening to music and loves dancing.
