Kloof’s Round Table welcomes new chairman at conference

At the mass Chairman's Induction Gala, Kloof was also awarded the Espirit de Corps trophy for its ongoing assistance to other clubs.

THE Round Table Kloof 190 members and their partners recently attended the NSCA AGM Conference held at the TO Strand Resort in Port Edward.

“The conference was well attended by our fellow Tablers from around the area and considerable and thoughtful discussions were held revolving around the activities and ideas of the Tablers and how we can make a difference in our own communities.

“It is heartening to see that many younger Tablers are stepping up to take on significant roles within the area structure and this bodes well for the future of the organisation,” said Kloof Round Tabler, Matthew Helm.

The weekend was capped with the Mass Chairman’s Induction Gala, where each club welcomed its new chairman into the role.

“This also provided the Tablers and their partners with an opportunity to really dress ourselves up and look sharp,” said Matthew.

For Kloof, this was an extra special occasion as the local branch was awarded the Espirit de Corps trophy, which is awarded to a Table in recognition of assistance provided to fellow Tablers during one of their events.

“The Kloof Round Table 190 wishes our 2019 chairman, Jason Scott, his wife Justeen, and their sons Zack and Chase, all the best for the year ahead,” said Matthew.
