Duigan performs ‘Magnificent Chopin’ in Kloof

IN May, Christopher Duigan performs a selection of music of romantic piano poet, Frederic Chopin (1810 – 1849).
In Magnificent Chopin Duigan plays music that highlights the bold, virtuosic and majestic elements of the composer’s music.The programme includes the Scherzo No 3, the Ballade No 3, and a selection of Etudes, Mazurkas, and Nocturnes and ends with Chopin’s monumental Sonata No 3.

Christopher Duigan, a Steinway Artist, has devoted much time to the study and performance of Chopin’s music in his professional career. Since 2016 he has given over 40 performances detailing the insight he gained into Chopin’s life and his music while on a trip to Warsaw, Poland and the Chopin Museum.
