JOSH Beck, a grade 7 learner, is Westville Senior Primary School’s SPAR Star of the Month.
Josh excels at a wide variety of sporting activities and has been selected for both the PADSSA U13 rugby and football teams. He will attend the final round of PADSSA cricket trials next month. Josh also made the KZN U13B Coastals hockey team and revealed that hockey is his number one sport of choice.
His educators described him as friendly, cheerful, respectful and responsible. His sport coach said he is an immensely talented young man who plays sport with great passion.
Josh and his family are animal lovers and have four pet dogs. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the beach with his family and tackles a few waves with his older brother.
When he finishes school, Josh would like to play hockey at an international level and study veterinary sciences at UCT. It is his ultimate dream to travel the world and scuba dive in beautiful locations such as Mauritius and explore coral reefs, marine life and shipwrecks.
