HANNAH Venter is Forest View Primary School’s SPAR Star of the Month.
Instead of receiving Easter eggs in April, the Grade 4 learner asked her mom and dad if she could rather donate dog food to a good cause.
They chose Animal Antics Pet Rescue, based in Botha’s Hill, and delivered the food. Hannah also met a few of the gorgeous furbabies that are in need of forever homes.
This visit sparked another good deed and she has asked all of her school friends to join in on her collection and donate items of dog and cat food each month.
Hannah aims to deliver all of the food in the school holidays with her friends.
“Forest View Primary School is so proud of your initiative and your caring heart,” said the school’s public relations officer, Jean Montile.
