AFTER almost a month of inconvenience caused by the closure of Stapleton Road, motorists can breath a sigh of relief as it was opened yesterday afternoon.
Head of Durban Metro police, Steve Middleton confirmed the good news this morning.
The road was closed after it was damaged by the recent heavy rains.

The closure of this frequently used road caused lots of chaos as it was difficult to enter or exit Pinetown, making it hard for motorists to reach their destinations on time.
Motorists have welcomed the wonderful news saying they are glad the road is now open as the closure also contributed to petrol being wasted.
