Voting has been a cinch at the Westville Civic Centre this morning.
DESPITE a heavy flow of traffic at the Westville Civic Centre, the queues were processed quickly by the energetic and efficient IEC staff.
Sihle Mthethwa: “Be the change. It takes one person to make a change and if I don’t vote, my voice won’t be heard. This morning I was undecided as to whether or not I was going to vote, but if I stayed away, I would be putting myself at a disadvantage. Hopefully my party does bring the change.”
Kathleen De La Hunt: “To vote is my responsibility as a citizen and I have faith that South Africa is a beautiful country and I have a vision for a greater country.”
Hlanzeka Nkosi: “I wanted to exercise my vote, as the youth, to reflect my human right.”
Jason and Julia McIntyre: “We need change and to make a better South Africa.”
Mandondo Mgwaba: “It is my democratic right and I voted for my liberation movement and I have this right because of the ANC.”
