ANC youth league leader gunned down in Ntshongweni

Dumisani Moyo had just arrived at his home when two suspects opened fire on him.

KWAZULU-Natal ANC youth league leader, Dumisani Moyo, was killed in what is believed to be a ‘politically motivated’ killing.

Moyo, chairman of Ward 7 of the eThekwini region, was gunned down outside his home in Ntshongweni.

KZN police spokesperson, Capt Nqobile Gwala said a case of murder is being investigated by Mpumalanga SAPS.

“It is alleged a 34-year-old man arrived at his place just before 10pm when he was shot by two unknown suspects.

“He sustained gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was taken to a local clinic where he later died,” said Gwala.
