More rain and flooding expected today, warns SA Weather Service

Durban is set to experience more localised flooding with an 80 per cent chance of rain.

TWENTY three people have been reported dead after the storm and severe floods wreaked havoc throughout Durban, and the South African Weather Service has issued a warning for more localised flooding, with an 80 per cent chance of rain.

According to the weather service, the flood warning will only apply to the coastal areas tomorrow and a 60 per cent chance of rain should be expected.

In the Highway area no fatalities have been reported yet but families have lost their homes and some are without water and electricity.
