WITH the petrol price set to rise next week Tuesday at midnight, its the commuters who tackle the long haul to work each day that will be dealt a double blow with today’s toll fee increase.

King Shaka International airport ramp: R6 (light vehicles) R12 (medium heavy vehicle, 2 axle heavy) R19 (large heavy vehicles, 3 and 4 axle) R25 (extra large heavy vehicles, 5 and more axle).

Mariannhill mainline: R12 (light vehicles) R22 (medium heavy vehicle, 2 axle heavy) R27 (large heavy vehicles, 3 and 4 axle) R42 (extra large heavy vehicles, 5 and more axle).

oThongathi mainline: R11.50 (light vehicles) R24 (medium heavy vehicle, 2 axle heavy) R31 (large heavy vehicles, 3 and 4 axle) R45 (extra large heavy vehicles, 5 and more axle).

Ramp (N): R5.50 (light vehicles) R12 (medium heavy vehicle, 2 axle heavy) R16 (large heavy vehicles, 3 and 4 axle) R23 (extra large heavy vehicles, 5 and more axle).
