In December last year, she was selected to represent the KZN Open Pony Rider team and received her full KZN colours.

“This is noteworthy as she is very young to make the open team as they jump heights of 1.1m and 1.2m,” said Stm Mary’s DSG Kloof’s marketing and communications administrator, Lisa Abbott. The KZN Team finished in third place at the South African Pony Championships in Port Elizabeth.

“Congratulations Alex! The St Mary’s family and the upper highway community are very proud of you and wish you all the best in your career and as you compete in Uzbekistan,” said Lisa.
