THE Kloof Conservancy is planning a Back-to-Nature Frog Evening, in partnership with the Endangered Wildlife Trust – Endangered Amphibian Programme and the Gillitts Conservancy, on Saturday, 23 February.

The event will be held at the Iphiti Nature Reserve and about 14 volunteers are needed to assist on the evening.

“The volunteers will be needed from 2pm to set up the activity tables and explain what needs to be done. Visitors will arrive from 4pm. The activities at the tables will be completed by about 6.30pm and the frog search will start as soon as it’s dark, about 7pm,” said Candotti.

Volunteers are needed to help the children do the activities, which will be prepared beforehand, such as face-painting, manage the gate entry fee, hand out activity cards to each child entering and help manage the parking, which is going to be a bit tight. Email info@kloofconservancy.org.za if you are able to assist.
