Barking good donation saves furry lives

Business owners gathered to raise much-needed pet food for the KZN Valley Dogs organisation.

MEMBERS of Authentic Boss, an online and offline platform of business owners, donated more than 300kg of cat and dog food for the KZN Valley Dogs.

Tania Shingler of Shingler and Associates, the founder of Authentic Boss, said, “We are a free online group on Facebook, but we also have monthly meetups. Two of our incredible members, Tamlyn Kim Nurse and Graeme Tuck from Blueberry Blush, offered members of the group a free pair of their gorgeous shoes in exchange for a donation of either dog food or cat food.”

The group met at Café Breve’ and a whopping 60 business members joined and donated a total of 253KG bags of dog pellets, 109 tins of dog food, 41kgs of cat pellets and 20 cat sachets and 11 tins of cat food.

“This wasn’t all as we also had a meet up in Cape Town where Blueberry Blush also offered the same donation to an animal organisation that was in need,” said Tania. “I would like to thank each member of Authentic Boss for their contributions, this is what support and community is all about.”
